"Meet me tonight" was large, open event attended by both scientists and the public to share and learn about the research accomplishments of Italian institutions across the country. It was an excellent opportunity showcase the research and innovation potential of scientific work being done in Italy and was held in several cities between the 27-29th September 2018. As one of the ASCIMAT partners, the University of Milano-Biccoca was a partner for the event and also was present throughout the event from the 28-29th September. For two days, Dr. Anna Vedda (UNIMIB) participated as a speaker in the « EU Corner », a discussion session where researchers addressed the general public and explained their involvement in EU projects. It also included a « speed-dating » activity where they would speak face-to-face for five minutes at a time.
With more than 2000 researchers in attendance across the country, the event was informative and beneficial to a diverse audience of participants. It was also an excellent opportunity to showcase the achievements and activities of the ASCIMAT and INTELUM projects, of which FZU, CERN, UCBL-ILM and UNIMIB are also partners.
